Dr. Megan Lott

Developmental Optometrist, O.D., FCOVD

Dr. Megan Sumrall Lott is a functional optometrist and founder of Belle Vue Specialty Eye Care in Hattiesburg, MS. A 2006 graduate of Southern College of Optometry, she discovered her passion for functional optometry after helping her infant son with vision therapy. Dr. Lott is the first female in Mississippi to earn Fellowship status with the College of Visual Development and is also a fellow of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists.

Dr. Lott is active in professional associations, has served on multiple boards, and has been recognized with awards including Young OD of the Year, Community Service Award, and Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 50 under 40.

A national speaker and lecturer, Dr. Lott has extensive training in brain injury rehabilitation, vision-related learning disorders, and sports vision, and received the Founder’s Award from the Brain Injury Association of Mississippi for her work improving patient outcomes.

Dr. Lott is the founder of Belle Vue Specialty Eye Care. Belle Vue specializes in pediatric vision care, functional optometry, vision therapy, and low vision services, helping patients of all ages improve their visual skills and quality of life.
